GBPUAT to organise 36th convocation on November 27

The GB Pant University of Agriculture and Technology (GBPUAT) will host its 36th convocation ceremony on November 27. According to university officials, the chief guest will be the governor lieutenant general (retd) Gurmit Singh, along with the university vice chancellor Manmohan Singh Chauhan. Special guests will include the minister of Agriculture and Farmer Welfare Ganesh Joshi and the Union minister of State for Road Transport and Highways Ajay Tamta.
The officials further said that during the convocation, degrees will be conferred upon 1,172 undergraduate and postgraduate students who have completed their courses by the 2023-24 academic year. In addition to the degrees, a total of 15 vice chancellor gold medals, 12 silver medals and 12 bronze medals will be awarded, along with other accolades to seven students for their exceptional achievements in 2023-24. Further, one outstanding student will receive the chancellor gold medal. The university will also present various awards to students for their accomplishments in different fields during this ceremony, they added.
