The Uttarakhand Vidyalayi Shiksha Parishad (UVSP) has extended the deadline for updating the data of institutional candidates for the 2027 Class X and XII board examinations. The UVSP has instructed all schools to compulsorily upload student data to the portal by August 4. The secretary of UVSP, Vinod Kumar Dhoundiyal has written a letter to the chief education officers of all districts, instructing them to ensure 100 per cent updating of all student records on the portal within the stipulated time frame.
He said that the board had opened the portal for data updates from July 15 to July 31, but some schools have not yet completed this process. He said that in the best interests of students, the council has extended the data update date, providing a final opportunity so that no student faces inconvenience related to the board examination.
The UVSP secretary clarified that the data update date will not be extended under any circumstances after August 4. “After this, the school principal will be solely responsible for any errors or discrepancies in student details. The council has also provided schools with the option to prepare the enrolment list starting August 4,’’ he said.
He also informed that the portal for new registration and transfer of institutional students of classes X and XII will open from August 11 to August 24, 2026.

All schools must update 100 per cent of their data within the stipulated time frame, so that no student faces any inconvenience related to the exam. The government is committed to ensuring transparency.
