In latest news from Doon, two persons were killed when the car they were travelling in plunged into 800 metre deep gorge in Lokhandi area of Chakrata. Upon being informed, SDRF and local police team conducted a combined rescue operation and extricated the bodies from the mangled car. They were later sent for post-mortem. The two deceased were yet to be identified, police said.
