A Population Stabilisation Campaign was launched at Mahatma Gandhi Shatabdi Hospital on the occasion of the World Population Day. This campaign will continue till July 18.
The Rajpur MLA, Khajan Das inaugurated the campaign while five ASHA workers were felicitated for making special efforts to motivate the beneficiaries for family planning and to provide family planning services.
The chief medical officer, Manoj Kumar Sharma said that camps are being organised in the district under the awareness campaign. “Sterilisation and other services are also available in hospitals under family planning,” he said and appealed to people to adopt family planning for the well-being of their families as well as the society.
