The Defence Minister Rajnath Singh arrived at Pantnagar Airport on Saturday, received by chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami. The CM felicitated him with Uttarakhand’s traditional cap.
Senior district officials, including the district magistrate Nitin Singh Bhadauria, senior superintendent of police Ajay Ganpati and chief development officer Divesh Shashni were also present.
After a brief halt at the airport, the Defence Minister departed by helicopter for his scheduled programme in Haldwani.
