Punjab and Sind Bank’s MD and CEO Swarup Kumar Saha said that the bank achieved its highest-ever net profit of Rs 1,322 crore and total business of Rs 2.63 lakh crore during FY 2025–26. He further informed that bank registered a growth of 18 per cent in advances and MSME growth of 29 per cent during this period. Speaking at a town hall meeting of the bank’s Dehradun region, he also requested all citizens to remain alert against incidents of digital arrest and cyber frauds. He expressed confidence that the bank’s business would reach Rs 3 lakh crore during FY 2026–27 and further grow to Rs 4 lakh crore by March 2029.
Regional manager Lalremthang Hmar said that the bank is expanding its footprint in Uttarakhand by opening more branches to provide enhanced banking services to customers.
