Maharaj discusses ICP Banbasa with Amit Shah

The State Cabinet Minister Satpal Maharaj met the Union Home Minister Amit Shah at the latter’s official residence in Delhi on Saturday and presented him with a book titled “Ambles Across Godland,” published by Uttarakhand Tourism, which describes how the government has put unused bridges to good use by building cafeterias on them.
Besides, he discussed with him matters related to the Banbasa Integrated Check Post (ICP) being developed on the India-Nepal border, as well as informed him about the slow pace of construction of the approach road (National Highway) connecting the ICP. He told Shah that the ICP construction work is likely to be affected due to the slow road construction. He also discussed with the Union Home Minister the road to be built between Banbasa and Mahendra Nagar.
