The Bharatiya Janata Party will field more than 10,000 party workers through its organisational cells for the 2027 Assembly elections. Chairing a meeting State and district heads of the party’s cells in Kashipur on Monday, the BJP State president and Rajya Sabha member Mahendra Bhatt outlined the special role of cells and directed the formation of strong teams and the Mandal and booth levels to raise public awareness on the government’s development and welfare scheme to win the public’s support.
Bhatt said that the organisational cells include not just political workers but also prominent citizens, subject experts and those with experience in various fields. He exhorted all the cells to effectively communicate the organisation’s policies, ideology and public welfare schemes to various segments of society. Stressing on preparations for the 2027 Vidhan Sabha elections, he said that every cell should become active at the booth level to strengthen the organisation, get new members to join the party and raise public awareness on the government’s welfare schemes. State and district level office bearers of the business, trade, economic, cooperatives and sports cells were present in the meeting.
