The Health department reported 28 cases of H1N1 influenza (swine flu) in Dehradun district on Sunday. According to officials, a total of 328 cases of swine flu have been reported in the district, out of which 197 patients have recovered and 129 are active cases while two patients have died so far from the disease.
A total of 132 samples were collected on Sunday with 22 of the positive cases in Dehradun and six from other places. Cumulatively, 718 samples have been collected so far for swine flu. Similarly, 54 samples were collected for Covid testing on Sunday with none turning out positive.
Cumulatively, 381 samples have been collected for Covid testing so far with 41 turning out positive. A total of 38 patients have recovered with only three active Covid patients currently under treatment in Dehradun, officials said.
