Negi directs Samagra Shiksha Pariyojana director to present himself before commission

The SCPCR chief Usha Negi has directed the director general of Uttarakhand school education to present the director of Samagra Shiksha Pariyojana in the commission. Negi said that under Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan, two teachers in each block and 95 special educators at a secondary level under the Inclusive Education for Disabled at Secondary Stage (IEDSS) scheme must be appointed by the education department.

However, Negi said that the department is planning to appoint only 47 special educators under the IEDSS scheme.  Stating that the department has received a letter from the CM Office to present a report on the issue, Negi asked the general director to instruct the director of  Samagra Shiksha Pariyojan to present the report personally in the commission on Monday.
