The state health department reported only 14 new cases of the novel Coronavirus (Covid-19) and 20 recoveries from the disease in Uttarakhand on Monday.
The cumulative count of Covid-19 patients in the state is now at 3,43,504 while a total of 3,29,794 patients have recovered from the disease so far. In the state, 7393 people have lost their lives to Covid -19 till date. The recovery percentage from the disease is at 96.01 while the sample positivity rate on Monday was 0.10 per cent.
The state health department reported six new patients of Covid -19 from Dehradun, three from Pithoragarh, two from Chamoli and one each from Haridwar, Nainital and Rudraprayag on Monday. No new cases were reported from remaining districts on the day.
The state now has 218 active cases of Covid-19. Dehradun with 112 cases is at the top of the table of active cases while Pauri has 24 active cases. Tehri and Bageshwar have only one active case of the disease now.
In the ongoing vaccination drive 40,450 people were vaccinated in 910 sessions in the state held on Monday. As per the data of the state health department 73,32,942 people in the state have received the first dose of vaccine while 30,44,759 have received both doses of the vaccine.
