The Uttarakhand unit of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has said that the chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami should take the moral responsibility for the back door appointments in the Uttarakhand Assembly and should resign from his post.
The Garhwal media in-charge of AAP, Ravindra Singh Anand said the recruitments of favour in Vidhan Sabha have put the Dhami government on the dock. He said that recruitment of wife of an OSD of CM, PROs and persons close to ministers Rekha Arya, Satpal Maharaj and former minister Madan Kaushik prove that favouritism occurred in recruitments of Vidhan Sabha. Anand said that the manner in which the Dhami government which boasts about zero tolerance for corruption has been surrounded by recruitment scams has exposed the real character and face of the BJP.
Terming the Vidhan Sabha as the temple of democracy, the AAP leader said that it is unfortunate that a scam has occurred in recruitment in Vidhan Sabha during the term of the BJP. Anand also took a dig at the statement of former CM Trivendra Singh Rawat that the file for recruitment in Assembly had come to him on which he recommended recruitment from the public service commission, had exposed the weak leadership of BJP. He warned that the AAP would soon launch an agitation against the alleged recruitment scam in Vidhan Sabha.
