In latest news from Doon, the ace badminton player Kuhu Garg who is also daughter of the former director general of police Uttarakhand Ashok Kumar has been selected for the Indian Police Service, ranking 178th in the Union Public Service Commission-conducted Civil Service examination. Notably, she has achieved accolades for India as a shuttler of international repute with a number of medals in her proud kitty. Further, her father Ashok Kumar while studying in IIT Delhi participated in Badminton tournaments as an IITian.
