ADG inspects newly established police post in Vanbhulpura

The additional director general of police (Administration) Amit Sinha on Friday conducted a field inspection of the new police post established on the land cleared of encroachment in Vanbhulpura area of Haldwani.
The police had established a police post on the cleared land four days ago within 24 hours of the announcement of chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami that a police station will be constructed on the cleared land in the Vanbhulpura area which was illegally encroached upon before.
The ADG visited the police post to check its functioning. He also held a detailed discussion regarding the proposal for prescribed standards of the Bureau of Police Research & Development (BPR&D) for the new police post.
Besides this, he also directed the deputy inspector general (DIG) of police of Kumaon range Yogendra Singh Rawat and Nainital senior superintendent of police Prahlad Narayan Meena to improve the security arrangements in the area.
