The month-long Agniveer recruitment rally will commence on June 20 at the Somnath stadium, Ranikhet of Kumaon regimental centre. This will be the first recruitment rally in the State under the new pattern under which the candidates will have to give the online examination in the first phase. The admit cards for the physical test would be issued only to the selected candidates in the online examination. The rally is being organised under the aegis of the Army Recruitment Office (ARO) Almora.
The recruitment director of the ARO, Almora Aditya Kumar Mishra said that the rally will commence on June 20 and end on July 15. He said that recruitment of all categories (sepoy GD, clerk, storekeeper, technician, trade man, nursing assistant and sepoy pharma) would be done in the rally. The state administration has appointed joint magistrate of Ranikhet Jai Kishan as nodal officer for the rally.
