The speaker of Uttarakhand assembly Premchand Agarwal has said that all preparations for the successful organisation of the winter session of assembly have been made. The winter session of assembly is starting from December 21.
Interacting with the media persons at Vidhan Sabha on Saturday, the speaker said that the officials have been ordered to make foolproof security and other arrangements. He said that all the regulations of Covid-19 pandemic would be strictly adhered during the session. Agarwal added that meetings of leaders of legislature parties and the business advisory committee of the house is scheduled at 3.30 pm on Sunday. The agenda of the three day session would be decided in the meeting of the business advisory committee.
Meanwhile the employees of the Vidhan Sabha were given training on fire safety by the fire safety department on Saturday. The training was inspected by the speaker Premchand Agarwal. The chief fire safety officer Rajendra Khati gave detailed information about different fire safety devices. The officiating secretary Vidhan Sabha, Mukesh Singhal was present on the occasion.
