The Governor Lt Gen Gurmit Singh (retd) inaugurated Prabhu Shri Ram—Incense with a Story’s Cultural Flower Valley at Vasantotsav (Flower Show) in Raj Bhavan, Dehradun. Hailing the creative presentation, he said that it perfectly captured India’s rich culture through the medium of fragrance. He further said that seeing such innovative attempts to promote the country’s traditions was edifying.
The Prabhu Shri Ram Cultural Flower Valley is a unique initiative that narrates the story of India’s rich cultural heritage, especially the epic tales of the Ramayana, through an exquisite display of fragrant arrangements. This endeavour is a part of the Blooming Buds Spring Fragrance Festival, a first-of-its-kind celebration of India’s rich floral diversity. It aims to beautifully blend the art of storytelling with a wide range of luxury incense collections.
The CMD, Prabhu Shri Ram Luxury Incense—Incense with a Story, Prashant Kumar shared that their aim is to connect one to the values of India’s rich tradition and customs. “The overwhelming support we are receiving for this initiative will inspire us to promote India’s cultural heritage both in India and abroad with more vigour in the coming days,” he added.
The Prabhu Shri Ram Cultural Flower Valley is open to visitors throughout the duration of the Raj Bhavan Flower Show: from March 7 to 9.
