Dehradun police have registered a case against actress Urmila Sanawar who claims to be the second wife for former Bharatiya Janata Party MLA Suresh Rathore at Nehru Colony police station for allegedly posting abusive and objectionable content against a woman on social media. The FIR was registered on the woman’s complaint. She alleged that Sanawar used her Facebook account to make offensive remarks against her and repeatedly shared objectionable content. The woman also alleged that the posts were pushing her towards suicide.
According to the complaint, Sanawar allegedly targeted the woman through social media and made several objectionable remarks. Police have registered the case and started an investigation into the allegations.
Sanawar is already facing several cases in different police stations in Uttarakhand. One case was registered on the complaint of former BJP national general secretary Dushyant Kumar Gautam. Another case was registered at Nehru Colony police station on the complaint of Arti Gaur. Gaur had alleged that her mobile number was made public, after which she received threatening calls from unknown people. She uses the name actress Urmila Suresh Rathore on social media and identifies herself as Rathore’s wife.
She came into the spotlight after releasing audio and video clips related to the Ankita Bhandari murder case. She had made claims about the alleged involvement of some influential people and politicians.
