An army chopper carrying CDS General Bipin Rawat crashed in Coonoor, Tamil Nadu on Wednesday. Besides Rawat, the chopper that crashed between Coimbature and Sulur was reportedly carrying around 14 people including his family members and staff. The local officials reached the site and took the injured to the local hospital amid the ongoing rescue operations. Four people are reportedly dead in the incident. Many political leaders like Shivraj Singh Chauhan, Rahul Gandhi and Nitin Gadkari took to social media to express concern over the incident.
