Additionally, a draft for the proposed bridge construction to connect this bypass to Almora National Highway has been prepared and submitted to the State government.
The commissioner stated that the construction of this road would not only alleviate the traffic jams at Kainchi Dham but vehicles bound for the hilly districts could easily pass through this route.
He also inspected the ongoing construction of the motor bridge connecting the Bhowali bypass. The PWD officials informed him that the construction would be completed in two months.
