A day after the State Congress president Ganesh Godiyal demanded probe into the purported letter written by the Gadarpur MLA Arvind Pandey to the Prime Minister Narendra Modi raising serious allegations against BJP leaders in Uttarakhand, a BJP leader and former Kichha BJP MLA, Rajesh Shukla said that Pandey has been using the Congress as a shield to defame the BJP government and the party. In a statement issued on his social media accounts, Shukla questioned how the letter had reached the state president of the opposition party.
Calling it a conspiracy, he said that since the day Pushkar Singh Dhami had assumed charge as the chief minister, some people remained engaged in destabilising the government.He urged the party leadership to take a serious note of the matter and take stern action to avoid sending a wrong message to the workers and the people.
