Chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami visited a restaurant in Garhi cantonment area of the city on Tuesday where he took stock of the distribution of the LPG gas supply. In an appeal to all the hotel and restaurant owners, the CM said that at present there is no crisis of cooking gas but the people of the country should show the unity exhibited during the period of the Covid-19 pandemic, if the crisis deepens in coming days. He said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the government is making every possible effort to ensure a smooth supply of LPG in the country.
The restaurant owner told the CM that there has been some hindrance in supply but as of now the cooking gas is available. He said that the hotel and eateries owners are making use of Tandoor more to save cooking gas.
The CM said the people should use alternative methods such as induction to save LPG. He assured that the State government is ready to provide every kind of help to the people.
