The Badrinath temple and various shrines associated with it will remain closed during the total lunar eclipse on November 8. Along with Badrinath about 17 associated temples in various parts of the State will remain closed during the eclipse. The Badrinath Kedarnath Temple Committee (BKTC) media in-charge Harish Gaur informed that Badrinath and all other shrines under the temple committee will be closed at the start of the Sutak period during the eclipse.
According to astrological calculations, the total lunar eclipse will start at 1:32 PM and end at 7:27 PM. In India the eclipse will begin at 5:32 PM and end at 6:18 PM.
