Bangladeshi arrested, interrogation on

In latest Uttarakhand news, the Kaliyar police arrested a suspected Bangladesh national who has been staying there without visa/passport. Police said he had come to Kaliyar from Gujarat by train two days ago. A case has been registered against him and he is now being interrogated. Notably, police and intelligence department have been on alert mode with the Urs celebration going on. Sharing details, a police officer said that they had taken into custody a suspect. During interrogation, he is learnt to have said that he is a resident of Gujarat. However, when the police pressed him hard, he disclosed that he is a native of Khulna district of Bangladesh and he had come to Gujarat about two years ago to work as a wage labourer. Police further learnt that he had been living in India for the past two years sans visa/passport. He was identified as Sheikh Abdul Aziz (48), informed SP (Rural) S K Singh, adding that he is now being interrogated.
