He happens to be a beneficiary of the PM Kishan Yojna. Under this scheme, the farmers’ families having agricultural lands receive financial assistance. They receive into their Aadhar-linked bank accounts Rs 6000 per year in three tranches-each of Rs 2000. Anandmani’s family members said that, with the assistance of Pantnagar University, he started cultivating tomatoes, cauliflower, ginger, green chilies and beans among others and he has now been earning well from his farm land. The overwhelmed farmer said that he will forever be indebted to PM Modi for the latter’s unflinching commitment to farmers’ welfare
