Member of Parliament and former Union minister Ajay Bhatt welcomed the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra pilgrims on their arrival in Uttarakhand in Rudrapur, near Uttar Pradesh-Uttarakhand border, on Saturday.
Bhatt said that the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra is much more than a mere religious journey. “It is a spiritual journey. Visiting Kailash, the sacred abode of Lord Shiva, and the sacred Mansarovar are unforgettable moments in a devotee’s life,” he said.
He further said that Uttarakhand has always been a land of spiritual tradition, pilgrimage and hospitality.
Speaking to the pilgrims, Bhatt said that the Uttarakhand government and the local administration are committed to ensuring the convenience, safety and smooth travel for the pilgrims.
