Bihar CEO appeals Bihari voters in U’khand to fill enumeration forms

The chief electoral officer (CEO) of Bihar has written a letter to the Uttarakhand CEO in which he has made an appeal to the voters of Bihar residing in Uttarakhand to fill their enumeration forms. The move is the part of ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls undertaken by the Election Commission of India in Bihar.
In his letter, the Bihar CEO has said that many voters of the State temporarily reside in Uttarakhand and they can fill the enumeration forms in an online medium or with the help of their family members. The SIR process will continue till July 25 and the draft roll of the voter lists will be published on August 1, 2025. The Election Commission will undertake the process of objections and their disposal from August 1 to September 1.
The voters can fill their enumeration form by their mobile phones, visiting website https://voters.eci.gov.in or with the help of ECINET App.
They can download the pre-filled form and send signed copy to their BLOs by WhatsApp, e-mail or any other medium.
The voters can attach any of the 11 documents with their forms. They are identity card or PPO issued to a regular employee/pensioner of any Central/State government and PSU, any document issued by any government/ local body/Bank/Post Office/LIC/PSU in India prior to July 01, 1987, birth certificate issued by the competent authority, passport, academic certificate issued by recognised board/university, permanent residence certificate issued by the competent state authority, forest rights certificate, caste certificate, National Register of Citizens, family register and land or house allotment certificate issued by the government.
