A memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed between Graphic Era Hill University and Aryabhatta Research Institute of Observational Sciences (ARIES). While hailing the MoU, the senior officials of the Graphic Era Hill University said that
that the university has now become a globally reputed educational brand whose alumni are working in the fields of industry, education and entrepreneurship in India and abroad. They also appreciated the contribution of ARIES in the fields of astronomy, science and engineering. The objective of the MoU is to promote collaboration in the field of education, research and innovation between the two institutions, they added.
The director, ARIES, Manish Kumar Naja said that this MoU is not a beginning but a continuation of the already ongoing partnership. He mentioned various ongoing initiatives like conferences, internships, joint projects and PhD programmes. “These now need to be taken to the next level,” he noted.
