Bilimoria hails CM Dhami’s Britain visit

Independent crossbench peer in the House of Lords of United Kingdom and the chancellor of University of Birmingham, Karan Bilimoria has termed the recent visit of Uttarakhand chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami to the United Kingdom a major success. In a message, Bilimoria who had hosted the CM at the House of Lords in UK said that investments worth thousands of Crores of rupees were agreed upon during the visit of CM Dhami to UK. He said that Uttarakhand is a wonderful State with huge potential in the sectors of industry, tourism, energy, industry and education. Lord Bilimoria is a native of Uttarakhand settled in the UK and he is a regular visitor to the State. He hosted the CM in the House of Lords in London during his recent visit.
Dhami was on a five-day official visit to Britain recently to interact with the business fraternity there for the global investors’ summit to be held in Dehradun in December this year. During the visit the delegation of Uttarakhand entered Memorandum of Understandings worth thousands of crores of rupees with companies of the UK.
