BJP creating political instability in Uttarakhand – Congress

The Uttarakhand Congress has accused the ruling BJP of creating a situation of political instability in the state. Leading the attack the former Chief Minister and general secretary of All India Congress Committee (AICC) Harish Rawat said that the BJP is caught into a dilemma of choosing one option out of imposing a president’s rule in the state, asking the CM Tirath Singh Rawat to resign and then re appointing him on the post of CM and dissolving the assembly ahead of its term. He added that courts could interfere and reject if the government opts to dissolve the assembly or if the CM Rawat resigns and reappointed. Rawat said that the CM of Uttarakhand is camping in Delhi and the governance has come to a standstill. On a sarcastic note the former CM remarked that some seasonal birds too have arrived in Delhi.
The spokesperson of Uttarakhand Congress Garima Dasauni said that the back to back visits to Delhi by the CM show that something is brewing in the Uttarakhand BJP. She said that the BJP replaced Trivendra Singh Rawat with Tirath Singh Rawat to beat the anti incumbency but he has proved to be a bigger failure than his predecessor. She said that the present scenario shows that the BJP is preparing to foist one more CM on the people of the state which if happens would be very unfortunate.
