It is learnt that the Prime Minister has agreed to give tips to the BJP legislators. The appeal was made to the PM by the Uttarakhand state BJP president Mahendra Bhatt. Bhatt met the Union Home Minister Amit Shah during his recent Uttarakhand visit and told him about the state party’s plan to hold an MLA training workshop. Later Bhatt met the PM in Delhi for about 40 minutes and they discussed the developmental issues aside from the political and organisational matters. According to Bhatt, the PM sought information about the developmental activities going on in the border areas under Vibrant Village Programme and land subsidence problem being faced by the people of Joshimath.
