Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has said that the people of Haryana have made up their mind to bring BJP back to power again in the State. The CM participated in a ‘women conclave’ organized in Pinjore Haryana in support of a BJP candidate from Kalka Assembly constituency on Monday. He said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the BJP government in Haryana has set new records in development in the last 10 years. The face of Haryana has changed as it has made rapid strides in the fields of health, road connectivity, drinking water and infrastructure.
He said that in the last 10 years the BJP government has constructed 40 national highways and set up a good network of roads in the villages. In the last few years the government has hiked the share of Haryana from Rs 300 crore to Rs 3,000 crores.
In the last 10 years 24 poor families in Haryana have got free cooking gas connections and 44 lakh families are receiving cooking gas cylinders at Rs 500.
Dhami said that the Haryana government has made an arrangement of 50 per cent reservation for women in Panchayati Raj bodies due to which 41 per cent women are elected Sarpanchs in the State.
Taking a dig at the Congress party’s slogan ‘Hath badlega Halat’, Dhami said that the history proves that the Congress’s Hath (hand) has not changed things but has always strangled the throat of the general public. He said that Haryana is moving on the path of development under the leadership of CM Nayab Singh Saini.
Dhami said that scams were common in Haryana during the rule of Congress party and major scams such as industry scam and land scam occurred during the Congress government. He said that corruption was rampant in Haryana when the Congress ruled the State and the BJP government has pulled the State out of the slush of corruption and has set up a transparent system of governance.
Large number of women and party workers were present on the occasion.
