The Rajkiya Shikshak Sangh (RSS) Uttarakhand has announced a protest to be held on August 25 and 27 at the block office and district headquarters. On these days, all members will take a collective leave to participate in the strike. This decision was made during an online meeting on Saturday.

During the meeting, officials discussed the future strategy for the ongoing strike aimed at addressing the RSS demands. A collective decision was reached that those who are not members of the organisation will not receive any benefits provided by it. Consequently, the organisation guarantee for CCL at the bank should be withdrawn immediately by notifying the bank.

Additionally, it was confirmed that a demonstration will take place on August 25 and 27 at both the block office and district headquarters. Members expressed that the government, administration and department have been consistently neglecting their concerns and are attempting to suppress the teachers’ voices. The teachers remain unafraid and are determined to escalate their agitation till their demands are met, they added.

The officials said that after the block and district demonstrations, an online meeting will be organised to plan the next steps for their movement.
