BJP trying to disturb communal harmony in State: Dhasmana

The vice-president of Uttarakhand Congress, Suryakant Dhasmana has said that perturbed by the widespread anger in the public over the uncivilised behaviour of a senior minister inside Vidhan Sabha during the budget session the ruling BJP is now trying divert the public attention by disturbing communal harmony in the State.

 He said that the BJP government has started a one sided campaign against Madarsas and mosques in the State deliberately during the sacred month of Ramzan.

 He said the people of Uttarakhand and Dehradun have understood the real motive of the BJP. He said that the people will celebrate Holi with fun and frolic on Friday, March 14 and the Muslim brethren will peacefully observe the Namaz of the second Friday in the month of Ramzan.

Dhasmana said that the BJP has realized that the people of mountainous areas of the State are so much offended by the behaviour and abusive language of cabinet minister Premchand Agarwal that it is now difficult for it to control the damage. He said that the decision to include Aggarwal in the group of ministers (GoM) by the union government has added salt on the injury. Dhasmana said that cornered BJP is now taking recourse to disturb communal atmosphere in the State.
