In latest news from Uttarakhand, the portal opening dates of the revered Kedarnath shrine are all set to be announced on the auspicious occasion of Maha Shivratri slated on February 26 from the winter abode of the Lord at Omkareshwar temple in Ukhimath in line with the long-continuing tradition.
Badrinath Kedarnath Temple Committee (BKTC) functionaries said they have already started preparation for taking the panchmukhi doli of the Lord from the winter abode to the Kedarnath shrine, adding that the dates would be calculated according to Panchang.
