Along with Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu and Defence minister Rajnath Singh, chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami released a book ‘Hemwati Nandan- Bharatiya Jan Chetna Ke Samvahak’ on the late HN Bahuguna in New Delhi on Wednesday. Speaking on the occasion, Dhami said that Bahuguna’s intentions were strong like the Himalaya and works done by him will always provide inspiration. He made a place for himself in Indian politics on the strength of his intellectual talent and also made all possible attempts for the development of the mountains, said the chief minister. Dhami further said that the Char Dham Yatra in Uttarakhand is going to be historic this year. The State government has made all the necessary arrangements for the pilgrimage. Welcoming the devotees to the State, he said that the government has made all necessary arrangements to make the pilgrimage convenient and safe for the people.
MP Reeta Bahuguna joshi, former chief minister Vijay Bahuguna, Union minister Mahendra Nath Pande, Uttarakhand Vidhan Sabha Speaker Ritu Khanduri and others were also present on the occasion.
