A bypass road would be constructed to ease the increasing traffic load in Srinagar city. The Union Road Transport minister Nitin Gadkari assured Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami on Monday that the DPR of the bypass would be approved in this month. He also approved the proposal of boarding of Jeolikot- Karnprayag road which links Garhwal and Kumaon divisions and Fedis- Sanel National Highway 72 B (707)
which links Uttarakhand with Himachal Pradesh.
