CBI arrests KV BHEL Ranipur Principal for accepting bribe of 30 K

The Principal of Kendriya Vidyalaya, BHEL, Ranipur, Haridwar was caught red -handed by a team of Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Wednesday while accepting a bribe of Rs 30,000 from the complainant. The Principal Rajesh Kumar has been arrested.
The CBI has received a complaint that the Principal was demanding a bribe from the contractual workers like guards, sweepers and gardners for continuation of their job in the school through their supervisor. The accused demanded a bribe of Rs 80,000 from the eight workers. However after negotiation he agreed to reduce the bribe amount to Rs 50,000 – 60,000. On receiving the complaint, the CBI laid a trap and caught the accused red-handed while demanding and accepting the bribe amount of Rs 30,000 as part payment.
The CBI also searched the residence and office of the accused which led to recovery of some incriminating documents.
