Census  2027:  1st training of master trainers  to start on April 25

Under the first phase of Census 2027, house listing and enumeration work will be carried out in Nainital district from April 25 to May 24. For this, the first training of the census personnel has started.
While inaugurating the three-day master trainers’ training camp in Kathgodam, the Cabinet minister, Rekha Arya urged all to take census seriously. “It plays a crucial role in achieving the goal of Developed India by 2047, for all development plans are based on its data,” she added.

The training is being organised under the direction of the additional district magistrate, Shailendra Negi while the district economics and statistics officer, Mukesh Negi informs the field trainees about the census process, house and family listing and data collection through digital medium.

The ADM said that this time the census is being conducted entirely digitally with data being collected through a mobile app. He instructed the trainees to collect accurate and error-free data.

Meanwhile, the census director, Uttarakhand, Eva Ashish Srivastava informed through video conferencing that the option of self-enumeration would also be available to the people between April 10 and 24.
