Centre approves Rs 453 Cr for road projects in U’khand

The Union Ministry of Road Transport and Highways approved Rs 453 crore for constructing 12 roads in Uttarakhand. The fund will be disbursed from Central Road and Infrastructure Fund (CRIF). The MoRTH informed the State’s chief secretary Radha Raturi about the approval of funds. As per the ministry sources, 332.90 km stretch of roads will be laid along with the construction of three bridges with the funds approved.
Notably, Rs 642 crore had been earlier approved from CRIF for road construction projects in Uttarakhand.
