Noted singer Sapna Chowdhary presented various songs which entertained the gathering on the occasion. During the programme which continued till midnight, the mill’s chief executive officer Ajay Kumar Gupta greeted the officers and employees of the mill. The function organised on the mill’s staff colony ground saw enthusiastic attendance of the staff and their family members. Popular singer Sapna Chowdhary was the main attraction of the event. Her songs made the audience tap their feet and dance to the beats and melodies. In addition to her performance, local artistes also presented various cultural items on the occasion. Folk dances, group dances and musical programmes kept the gathering enthralled late into the night.

Earlier, while inaugurating the event, the CEO said that Century is not just a commercial activity but is akin to a family. “In the past 41 years the mill has reached new heights in production and quality but the biggest asset of the enterprise are our employees. We organise this programme every year to bring the Century family on a platform and celebrate the occasion together. Our aim is not limited to progressing commercially but also to ensure every employee’s social and economic progress,” he said.
