After eluding police for nearly a year, a chain snatcher who was carrying a bounty of Rs 15,000 was arrested by a Special Task Force (STF). He had snatched a gold chain from a woman in Shiva Colony in Doilwala in 2024 and fled. Three cases had been filed against him at Kankhal police station. The STF team arrested the accused identified as Rahul from Usmannagar in East Delhi. Later, he was presented at Doiwala kotowali.
