CM directs officers to act promptly to solve public complaints

Chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami listened to the public grievances at a Janata Milan programme organised at his camp office on Tuesday. Large number of people from different parts of the State attended the programme.
After hearing the grievances, the CM directed the officers to act promptly on the public grievances. He said that apart from taking action, the officers should take regular feedback on the public complaints. The CM said that such programmes help in bringing administration close to the general public.
Dhami said that the objective of the government is time-bound and satisfactory disposal of the problems of the people. He said that every department should work responsibly and adopt an active and sensitive behaviour as per the aspirations of the general public. The CM directed the officers that they should dispose of the public grievances promptly and the process of grievance redressal should be made easy, transparent and accessible.
Dhami said that the silver jubilee year of the foundation of the State is an opportunity for public participation and dialogue. He averred that the public demands and their suggestions will be made part of the policy planning process in the State. He said that the government intends to ensure that every citizen of the State receives direct benefit of the development schemes. The CM exhorted the general public to provide constructive suggestions and take part in the efforts of the government in service of the people. The objective of every policy and decision of the government is the public interest and all round development of the State, he said.
