Chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has directed the officers of the Revenue department that the land records (Khatauni) of the people in the State should be made available online by July 15. This measure will help in preventing people from visiting Tehsils for the certified copies of their Khatauni. These orders were given by chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami while chairing a review meeting with the officers of the revenue department at the State secretariat on Monday.

In the meeting the CM said that hearings should be made mandatory in the revenue courts two days in a week. He added that if a Magistrate is unable to sit in the revenue court on the date due to any reason, then it will be necessary for him to clearly mention it in the court diary.
On a stern note the CM said that the process of mutation of the land should be completed within the stipulated time period. He directed the Garhwal and Kumaon Commissioners to regularly review the settlement of mutation and the cases of revenue courts.

Dhami said that all the services being provided under the ‘Apunni Sarkar Portal’ should be provided to the people within the stipulated period of time. He added that the responsibility of the officers who are negligent in this regard should be fixed. He said that as many services of the Revenue department as possible should be linked to this portal.

Dhami said that the arrangements for sitting, drinking water and other basic facilities should be made for the people coming to the Tehsils. The CM also directed the Garhwal and Kumaon Commissioners and all the District Magistrates to inspect arrangements in the Tehsils from time to time.
In the meeting, the CM directed the officers to expedite the process of Khatauni revision, updating records and preparation of a new database of the account and the co-account holders of the land.

The CM also directed the officers to conduct a survey of the entire land registered in the revenue records by using modern methods without delay.
The deputy chairperson of the State infrastructure monitoring council Vishwas Dabar, additional chief secretary Anand Bardhan, principal secretary RK Sudhanshu, secretaries Shailesh Bagoli, Chandresh Yadav, additional secretary Vijay Jogdande and others attended the meeting.
