CM flags off fleet of buses for cluster schools in Uttarkashi

Chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami flagged off a fleet of 15 buses to Uttarkashi district from his camp office on Tuesday. These buses will provide transport facility to the students enrolled in the cluster schools of the district. Speaking on the occasion, the CM said that the innovation will be beneficial for the students and will help them in their studies. He said that the buses will save the travel time of the students. The CM appreciated the initiative of cluster schools and providing transport facilities to the students. 

It is pertinent to mention here that the Uttarkashi district magistrate has purchased 15 buses under the head of district mineral trust foundation and untied fund for providing transport facility to 15 cluster schools in the urban areas of the district.  The district administration has spent a sum of Rs three crore for purchasing these buses.  

 Five schools of Naugaon block, three schools each of Bhatwadi and Dunda blocks, two schools of Purola block and one school in Chinyalisaur and Mori block will be provided one bus each for ferrying students.

The Education minister Dhan Singh Rawat, MLAs Bharat Chaudhary and Pramod Nainwal, Secretary Ravinath Raman, DM Uttarkashi M S Bisht, director general education Banshidhar Tiwari, director secondary education Mukul Sati, director primary education Ajay Naudiyal and district education officer of Uttarkashi Shalendra Amoli were present on the occasion.
