CM flags off inaugural flights to Ayodhya, Amritsar & Varanasi from Dehradun

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami flagged off the inaugural flights to Ayodhya, Amritsar and Varanasi from Dehradun airport, Jollygrant on Wednesday. Speaking on the occasion the CM said that the State government is endeavouring to make the transportation of people easy and without any hassles. He said that efforts are being made to ensure that the people from all parts of the country can visit Uttarakhand easily. The CM said that the air services from Dehradun to Pithoragarh have already started and Heli service from Haldwani to Champawat, Munsyari and Pithoragarh have also commenced. He said that the day is auspicious for the State since Dehradun- Ayodhya, Dehradun- Amritsar and Dehradun- Pantnagar and Varanasi air services are commencing. The CM expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and union civil aviation minister Jyotiraditya Scindia for the gift of new air services to the State. He said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi the State has made unprecedented progress in every sector including aviation.
The CM also met the passengers on board of the Ayodhya bound flight of Alliance airlines where he was greeted with cheers of Jai Shri Ram. It is pertinent to mention here that the State government has announced a subsidy in the air ticket to Ayodhya. The passengers can get the ticket to the temple city at a price of Rs 1999 till March 20.
The chief secretary Radha Raturi, additional chief secretary Anand Bardhan, additional secretary C Ravishankar, additional chief executive officer (ACEO) UCADA Dayanand Sarawati and others were present on the occasion.
