In latest news from Uttarakhand, the chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami presented appointment letters to 31 noted sports persons who have secured medals in national and international sports competition for jobs in multiple departments, including sports, home, youth welfare and forest, fulfilling the pledge of out of turn appointments for accomplished sports persons under the State sports policy 2021. Besides, he handed appointment letters to 25 youths selected for junior assistants’ posts in the transport department. Additionally, 28 youths were presented appointment letters on the same occasion for the post of junior accountants in horticulture department.
