CM inaugurates Madho Singh fair, announces projects

Chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami inaugurated the five-day State Industrial Agriculture Development Fair organised in the memory of Veer Shiromani Madho Singh Bhandari at Maletha. He visited the stalls set up by departments like horticulture, animal husbandry, revenue, child development, medical, industry, agriculture, social welfare, tourism, rural development and panchayat raj among others to publicise welfare schemes.
CM said that his government has been working in multiple fields like education, roads, health for swift development of Uttarakhand and to improve the life of every person. Crash barriers are being constructed along a stretch of 170 kms to ensure road safety in Tehri district. Besides, an 18- meter- long Bailey bridge had been built, replacing the one that had been washed away in Muyalgaon, he said, adding that self-employment is being promoted along with job creation to stop migration, increase tourism, employment and trade.
He also mentioned the House of Himalaya delivering local products to every corner of the world.
