Chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami met the representatives of different employee associations at his residence on Tuesday. In the meeting, the representatives of employee associations apprised the CM about issues and concerns related to their departments and cadre. After hearing them, the CM assured that all their grievances will be resolved as per the rules.
The office bearers of the Education Officers Administrative Cadre association led by Govind Ram Jaiswal requested that departmental promotions on the vacant posts of directors, additional and joint directors and block education officers should be done.
The delegation of the Federation of Uttarakhand Diploma Engineers demanded that the State government should take over the Uttarakhand Jal Sansthan. The office bearers of Federation of University Employees requested that the non-teaching posts in the universities should be filled and restructuring of the posts of non-teaching posts in the universities should be done.
The members of the Uttarakhand Junior High school Shikshak Sangh requested restoration of the old pension scheme and relaxation from compulsion of TET examination for the teachers appointed before 2010.
The association of National Health Mission employees, ANM workers, Lab technicians, Federation of Corporation employees, excise inspector and others also informed the CM about their problems and demands.
The CM directed the principal secretary RK Sudhanshu to get the demands of the employee associations examined and ensure necessary action.
Secretary Shailesh Bagauli, Dilip Jawalkar, Garhwal commission Anand Swarup, IG Garhwal Rajiv Swarup and other officers were present on the occasion.
