In continuation of threatening pre-recorded audios being received by people of Uttarakhand from the Kahalistani protagonists with the Ramnagar G-20 Summit being held, the chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami himself is learnt to have received such an audio. Taking the matter seriously, the DGP Ashoke Kumar asked STF to investigate.
For the past few days, several people, particularly the media persons, have been receiving such threatening audios, asking them not to go to Ramnagar during the summit with Ramnagar being a part of Khalistan. In the pre-recorded audios, the voice is of the founder of the Sikh separatist organization Sikhs for Justice Gurpatwant Singh Pannu.
In the pre-recorded audio received by the CM, Pannu is learnt to have warned Dhami against registering cases against the activists of his organisation. In case such actions are taken, the whole responsibility would rest with the CM himself, the audio said.
It is further learnt that STF is trying to trace all the numbers from which the audios are coming. However, police said that there is no organisational base for Sikhs For Justice in Uttarakhand and neither has any activist of the organisation been noticed by police here.
